The Grotesque Net of Iput Martin is a 1378 years old piece made by Iput Martin, a fisher living in Ife.
Considering its age and the quality of the work, people consider it of some value.
It is engraved with african patterns and some symbols pertaining to Animism.
This piece doesn't exist, but as a legend. It is said that in the year 1102, Gadise Martin, the owner, made use of it in Isfahan to empower the Martin family. Now it is lost, or broken, we will never know.
