The Disturbing Goblet of Amasis Algride is a 866 years old piece made by Amasis Algride, a servant living in Chinguetti.
Considering its age and the quality of the work, people consider it of some value.
It is engraved with african patterns and some symbols pertaining to Ancient Egyptian religion.
Though exposed in this museum, this piece belongs to the last of the Algride family, Marcus, currently living in Istanbul / Constantinople / Byzantium.
