He lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. He was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, he made some friends among it. He was known to have a good technical knowledge of their job and some pieces of general knowledge. He could read and write a little bit. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. In the life, he was able to take a few important life-changing decisions.
Wazad, 124 years old, latrines keeper, became the new leader of the family.
At the age of 134, Wazad decided to go back to where his family came. He packed a few possessions and departed for a the old place he often talked about. The travel was the occasion to do some merchandise dealing, and he made some business. The family settled in Engaruka. On the next full moon, Wazad bought some farm animals.
