He lived a life of poverty. He was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. He was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, he made some friends among it. People saw Ilozumba as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which he did for friends. He was robust, stunning, and never got sick a single time. He was mostly indecisive, usually accepting any order from anyone.
Ilozumba, 40 years old, fisher, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 52, Ilozumba invested time and efforts into a special artistic creation, but it wasn't a success, for he had no enough culture. People made fun of his attempt at creation, and Ilozumba lost courage. At the same time, Ilozumba drew a precise map of his location. Soon after, Ilozumba fell in love with Chibarameze, an average looking woman, 33 years old, a salt miner. Both married and lived together from now on.
On the first day of the month after, Chibarameze got pregnant and gave birth to an adorable baby girl, but he was weak and died the first night. Chibarameze got heartbroken.
