Akpobome , (1675, 1768) was a moneylender in Gondershe.
Akpobome believed in Berber religion.
He lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. He was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, he made some friends among it. People saw Akpobome as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which he did for friends. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. In the life, he was able to take a few important life-changing decisions.
Akpobome, 66 years old, moneylender, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 78, Akpobome spent time and money for the people that needed help. Nine months after, Akpobome had a nice evening with a personality of Gondershe. On the next full moon, Akpobome had big swings of mood following a depression. At the same time, Akpobome fell in love with Chikondi, a stunning woman, 35 years old, a butcher. Both married and lived together from now on.
The same day, Chikondi got pregnant, and gave birth to an adorable boy named Ejikeme.
At the age of 93, Akpobome wanted to marry again, for his heart was big. He began to look for a suitable spouse in Gondershe. Akpobome fell in love with Dayo, an ugly woman, 19 years old, a toolmaker. Both married and lived together from now on. At the same time, Akpobome had to fight in a war and came back injured.
Nine months after, Dayo got pregnant, and gave birth to an ugly boy named Mongo.
