Brukawit Monarchson, (1352, ?) was a moneylender in Aksum.
Brukawit believed in Berber religion.
She earned enough to live a decent life, but was sometimes a little bit short. She lived as an outcast. To tell the truth, in Aksum, she gained the trust or the friendship of no one. People saw Brukawit as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was strong, beautiful, and long lived. She was iron-willed, achieving any goal she set.
