Alara Tamago, (1457, 1492) was a salt miner in Kwiambana.
Alara believed in Animism.
He lived a life of poverty. He was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. He was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, he made some friends among it. He had a low knowledge of life, summing up to some technical tricks and tales from Kwiambana. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. He had an unbending mind, always reaching their goal.
Alara, 30 years old, salt miner, became the new leader of the family.
In the year 1492, Alara spent time and wealth to improve his living space. Now it was much more comfortable, and beautiful. At the same time, Alara was chased out of Ife by a rival. The travel was the occasion to do some merchandise dealing, and he made some business. The family settled in Kwiambana. The same day, Alara was praised for his work.
