Beletum Ellun, (416, 472) was a moneylender in Nishapur.
Beletum believed in Yazdanism.
She was doing well financially. She owned a house and some fine goods with it. She belonged to an influential family that could help in any occasion. Moreover, she was seen as belonging to the low nobility and as such, was somewhat courtised by many people. She was known to have a good technical knowledge of their job and some pieces of general knowledge. She could read and write a little bit. She had a frail body, unfit for physical duties. She was iron-willed, achieving any goal she set.
Beletum, 42 years old, moneylender, became the new leader of the family.
At the age of 56, Beletum spent time to learn to cook better, and made some various experiments. Not all of the dishes were good, but most weren't bad. On the first day of the month after, Beletum accepted to shelter a travelling family for a few weeks. Soon after, Beletum fell in love with Yusuf, an average looking man, 40 years old, a miller. Both married and lived together from now on.
Beletum died of exhaustion after a normal day of work.
