Udad The butters, (-1599, -1518) was a slave in Meroe.
Udad believed in Shamanism.
He lived a life of poverty. He was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. He lived as an outcast. To tell the truth, in Meroe, he gained the trust or the friendship of no one. He was known to have a good technical knowledge of their job and some pieces of general knowledge. He could read and write a little bit. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. He was soft-spirited, rejecting any responsability.
Udad, 45 years old, slave, became the new leader of the family.
At the age of 58, Udad invested all his time and energy in his work. On the first day of the month after, Udad had mental issues, and became an arsonist. A few weeks later, Udad read some forbidden texts.
12 years later, Udad understood that only the fittest can survive and swore to be the best. The same day, Udad became violent and people began to fear him. A little while after, Udad saw a shooting star and made a special wish. A few weeks later, Udad fell in love with Adaeze, an average looking woman, 29 years old, a servant. Both married and lived together from now on.
A little while after, Adaeze got pregnant, and gave birth to a very small boy named Meddur.
11 years later, Udad invested time and efforts into a special craft : a mediocre wood sculpture. People admired him for this work and Udad decided to keep it as a family treasure. At the same time, Udad got drunk and did thinqs he had regrets for all his life.
Later, Adaeze got pregnant, and gave birth to a monstrous looking boy named Gwafa.
