Apunanwu Mongoson, (-1807, -1765) was a latrines keeper in Volubilis.
Apunanwu believed in Shamanism.
She lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. She was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, she made some friends among it. She had a low knowledge of life, summing up to some technical tricks and tales from Volubilis. She was weak, and fell ill all the time. She was mostly indecisive, usually accepting any order from anyone.
Apunanwu, 27 years old, latrines keeper, became the new leader of a new branch of the family.
7 years later, Apunanwu needed more love in her life and began to flirt around. Apunanwu had a passionate affair with Brukawit, a charming woman, 27 years old, a butcher. A few weeks later, Apunanwu got the scarlet fever but survived. On the first day of the month after, Apunanwu fell in love with Ilozumba, a stunning man, 25 years old, a farmer. Both married and lived together from now on.
A few days later, Apunanwu got pregnant and gave birth to an adorable baby girl, but he was weak and died the first night. Apunanwu got heartbroken.
At the age of 42, Apunanwu spent time and money for the people that needed help. A few days later, Apunanwu inherited from a friend. On the first day of the month after, Apunanwu got a mysterious, incapaciting disease.
