Alara Mailland, (146, ?) was a brick maker in Katsina-Ala.
Alara believed in Animism.
He lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. He was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, he made some friends among it. People saw Alara as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which he did for friends. He was vigorous, muscular, and had a near perfect body. He was known to be lazy, barely waking up in the morning.
