Nekesa Yagizkin, (1443, 1528) was a drug dealer in Ambohimanga.
Nekesa believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
She lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. She had a low knowledge of life, summing up to some technical tricks and tales from Ambohimanga. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She was mostly indecisive, usually accepting any order from anyone.
Nekesa, 69 years old, drug dealer, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 79, Nekesa did commit suicide by cutting her wrists. However, the suicide attempt failed. Nekesa came back weaker from this experience. Later, Nekesa got the scarlet fever but survived. A little while after, Nekesa began to set a very strict planning of her days. The same day, Nekesa fell in love with Utatrerses, a charming man, 33 years old, a drug dealer. Both married and lived together from now on.
At the age of 85, Nekesa decided to enjoy life. She spent everything she earned for the pleasure of the body and the mind. Many people in Chinguetti were invited to enjoy life with her, and thus, she made many friends. Soon after, Nekesa was chased out of Chinguetti by a rival. The departure was sponsored by a local figure that gave her a recommandation, so she would be welcomed wherever she went. The family settled in Ambohimanga. On the next full moon, Nekesa went through a depression.
