Idder Yagizkin, (1749, 1844) was a chimney sweeper in Ouagadougou.
Idder believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
He lived a life of poverty. He was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. He was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, he made some friends among it. He was of a sophisticated culture, masters a couple of languages, and always curious to understand other cultures. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. In the life, he was able to take a few important life-changing decisions.
Idder, 80 years old, chimney sweeper, became the new leader of the family.
At the age of 95, Idder decided to go back to where his family came. He packed a few possessions and departed for a the old place he often talked about. The travel was uneventful, and a little bit boring and long. The family settled in Ouagadougou. A few days later, Idder slept more. The same day, Idder invested in a better food. At the same time, Idder fell in love with Butemwe, a charming woman, 45 years old, a slave. Both married and lived together from now on.
A little while after, Butemwe got pregnant, and gave birth to a very small boy named Aserkamani.
