Ishido Barbergil, (1628, 1689) was a holy prostitute in Hanoi.
Ishido believed in Confucianism.
He was at the time the top fortune in the world and lived an opulent life, richer than a whole country. He belonged to an influential family that could help in any occasion. Moreover, he was seen as belonging to the low nobility and as such, was somewhat courtised by many people. People saw Ishido as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which he did for friends. He was weak, and fell ill all the time. He had an unbending mind, always reaching their goal.
Ishido, 33 years old, holy prostitute, became the new leader of a new branch of the family.
In the year 1674, Ishido spent time and money for the people that needed help. A few days later, Ishido felt lonely. The same day, Ishido was told by a priest of Confucianism that the stars promised a good future.
At the age of 61, Ishido invested all his time and energy in his work. The same day, Ishido bought some farm animals. Nine months after, Ishido was selected for being a jury.
