Kahina Patrav, (937, 989) was a slave in Chinguetti.
Kahina believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
She lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. She was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, she made some friends among it. She was known to have a good technical knowledge of their job and some pieces of general knowledge. She could read and write a little bit. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She was known to be lazy, barely waking up in the morning.
Kahina, 39 years old, slave, became the new leader of the family.
At the age of 47, Kahina invested time and efforts into a special artistic creation, but it wasn't a success, for she had no enough culture. People made fun of her attempt at creation, and Kahina lost courage. A little while after, Kahina was praised for her work.
5 years later, Kahina looked for a child to adopt. Alas, she didn't have enough wealth to achieve this goal. She felt really sad. A little while after, Kahina became stingy.
