Pebatjma Abiditanell, (1165, 1232) was a builder in Chinguetti.
Pebatjma believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
She lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. She was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, she made some friends among it. She had only a basic knowledge that summed up to a few oral stories from childhood. She was vigorous, muscular, and had a near perfect body. She was known to be lazy, barely waking up in the morning.
Pebatjma, 41 years old, builder, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 56, Pebatjma spent time socializing with people in Chinguetti. She made some strong friendships (and a couple of enemies). On the first day of the month after, Pebatjma had nightmares. A few days later, Pebatjma fell in love with Buneb, an ugly man, 45 years old, a executioner. Both married and lived together from now on.
In the year 1232, Pebatjma did commit suicide by starvation. However, the suicide attempt failed. Pebatjma came back weaker from this experience. Later, Pebatjma read some forbidden texts. On the first day of the month after, Pebatjma tried hallucinogens.
