Gilukhipa Beng, (-1850, -1792) was a jeweler in Meroe.
Gilukhipa believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
She was rich, and owned many houses, many goods. Among these possessions, she began an art collection. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. She was of a sophisticated culture, masters a couple of languages, and always curious to understand other cultures. She was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health.She had an unbending mind, always reaching their goal.
Gilukhipa, 45 years old, jeweler, became the new leader of the family.
13 years later, Gilukhipa spent time socializing with people in Meroe. She made some strong friendships (and a couple of enemies). A little while after, Gilukhipa began gambling, and lost much. On the first day of the month after, Gilukhipa read some forbidden texts.
