Aserkamani Beng, (-1859, -1806) was a dancer in Ngwenya Mine.
Aserkamani believed in Shamanism.
He lived a life of poverty. He was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. He belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. He had no culture at all and lived like a beast. He had a frail body, unfit for physical duties. He was considered spiritless, and unable to make a decision.
Aserkamani, 29 years old, soldier, became the new leader of the family.
15 years later, Aserkamani invested all his time and energy in his work. A little while after, Aserkamani lost an eye in a domestic accident. A little while after, Aserkamani mortified himself for his sins.
Aserkamani was wounded in a battle. As a consequence, he had to change his activity. After some time and some learning, he became dancer.
At the age of 53, Aserkamani spent time to learn to cook better, and made some various experiments. Not all of the dishes were good, but most weren't bad. Half a year later, Aserkamani got a mysterious, incapaciting disease. Nine months after, Aserkamani fell in love with Kerubo, an average looking woman, 35 years old, a cook. Both married and lived together from now on.
A few weeks later, Kerubo got pregnant, and gave birth to a monstrous looking boy named Nedjeh.
