Shabaka Chikondiesi, (594, 678) was a dancer in Ntusi.
Shabaka believed in Animism.
He lived a life of poverty. He was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. He lived as an outcast. To tell the truth, in Ntusi, he gained the trust or the friendship of no one. People saw Shabaka as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which he did for friends. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. He was soft-spirited, rejecting any responsability.
Shabaka, 72 years old, dancer, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 84, Shabaka invested time and efforts into a special craft : a horrid bells. People admired him for this work and Shabaka decided to keep it as a family treasure. A few weeks later, Shabaka was disgusted by the politics in Ntusi. At the same time, Shabaka fell in love with Aat, a charming woman, 37 years old, a monk. Both married and lived together from now on.
The same day, Aat got pregnant, and gave birth to a very small boy named Khabekhnet.
