Chinecherem Chikondiesi, (-1655, -1568) was a fire keeper in Katsina-Ala.
Chinecherem believed in Animism.
He lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. He was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, he made some friends among it. People saw Chinecherem as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which he did for friends. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. He was soft-spirited, rejecting any responsability.
Chinecherem, 66 years old, fire keeper, became the new leader of a new branch of the family.
Aged 73, Chinecherem needed more love in his life and began to flirt around. Chinecherem had a passionate affair with Rahotep, an average looking man, 66 years old, a basket maker. A few days later, Chinecherem had a mystic vision. Later, Chinecherem became angry. The same day, Chinecherem fell in love with Gadise, an average looking woman, 36 years old, a builder. Both married and lived together from now on.
A few days later, Gadise got pregnant, and gave birth to a very small girl named Kasaqa.
In the year -1568, Chinecherem decided to improve his knowledge. He found a mentor that teached him many new useful and wonderful things. A little while after, Chinecherem disappeared for a few days, and nobody knew why. Nine months after, Chinecherem had big swings of mood following a depression.
Chinecherem got executed for having let the fire die.
