Yoruba Bailiffer, (501, 599) was a tailor in Matara.
Yoruba believed in Animism.
She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. She was of a sophisticated culture, masters a couple of languages, and always curious to understand other cultures. She was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health.She was iron-willed, achieving any goal she set.
Yoruba, 75 years old, tailor, became the new leader of the family.
At the age of 83, Yoruba decided to go back to where her family came. She packed a few possessions and departed for a the old place she often talked about. The travel did change her, making her stronger than before. The family settled in Faras. A few days later, Yoruba was told by a priest of Animism that the stars promised a good future. Half a year later, Yoruba gave money to the poor. On the first day of the month after, Yoruba fell in love with Osorkon, a stunning man, 31 years old, a salt miner. Both married and lived together from now on.
15 years later, Yoruba decided to settle somewhere else. She packed a few possessions and departed for a new place. The departure was sponsored by a local figure that gave her a recommandation, so she would be welcomed wherever she went. The family settled in Matara. Half a year later, Yoruba began to take naps regurlarly.
Yoruba died in her bed, with all her friends by her side.
