Kerubo Drunak, (-1841, -1798) was a cook in Ngwenya Mine.
Kerubo believed in Shamanism.
She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. She had no culture at all and lived like a beast. She had a frail body, unfit for physical duties. She was considered spiritless, and unable to make a decision.
Kerubo, 35 years old, cook, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 43, Kerubo spent time to learn to cook better, and made some various experiments. Not all of the dishes were good, but most weren't bad. The same day, Kerubo found a special place near Ngwenya Mine where she spent time to meditate.
