Kesandu Drunak, (-1844, -1785) was a potter in Ngwenya Mine.
Kesandu believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
She lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. People saw Kesandu as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was strong, beautiful, and long lived. She was known to be lazy, barely waking up in the morning.
Kesandu, 19 years old, potter, became the new leader of the family.
14 years later, Kesandu was not married at the time, but if she were, she would surely have divorced. On the next full moon, Kesandu didn't eat well because not much food was available. Later, Kesandu felt lonely.
At the age of 39, Kesandu looked for a child to adopt. Alas, she didn't have enough wealth to achieve this goal. She felt really sad. Nine months after, Kesandu helped build a shelter for the poors. A little while after, Kesandu rejected the family values.
In the year -1800, Kesandu decided to visit the world. She went on a long journey and reached Nippur, in Central Asia : a small village of reed huts that became a glorious city of stone. The travel was full of dangers, but by luck nothing happened to her. Then she came back and was quite happy to find her house and family. Half a year later, Kesandu had to flee during a fight in Ngwenya Mine.
At the age of 59, Kesandu understood that only by helping each other one can truly live. On the next full moon, Kesandu became paranoid.
Kesandu died of exhaustion after a normal day of work.
