Jol Jakero, (1855, ?) was a latrines keeper in Casablanca.
Jol believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
She earned enough to live a decent life and never worried too much to meet ends. She was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, she made some friends among it. People saw Jol as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health.She was soft-spirited, rejecting any responsability.
