Chepkirui Scribecox, (-1795, ?) was a guard in Engaruka.
Chepkirui believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
She lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. She was considered as a worker, belonging to the laborer caste of the society. She had struggles in accessing safe and well payed jobs and businesses. However, she made many friends. She was known to have a good technical knowledge of their job and some pieces of general knowledge. She could read and write a little bit. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She was considered spiritless, and unable to make a decision.
