Lunja Religious, (-1955, -1891) was a latrines keeper in Ife.
Lunja believed in Shamanism.
She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, she made some friends among it. She was seen as a true poet, and legends says that she couldn't live without reading and writing. Years after, some of the works Lunja made are still enjoyed and sometimes studied. She was strong, beautiful, and long lived. She was known to be lazy, barely waking up in the morning.
Lunja, 57 years old, latrines keeper, became the new leader of a new branch of the family.
In the year -1891, Lunja lost her beliefs and turned to Shamanism. On the next full moon, Lunja had mental issues, and became an arsonist. A few days later, Lunja had a wondrous dream of a infinite ocean. Soon after, Lunja fell in love with Akpobome, a charming man, 35 years old, a beggar. Both married and lived together from now on.
