Elanur Champlon, (1765, 1818) was a con artist in Syracuse.
Elanur believed in Mandaeism.
She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, she made some friends among it. She was known to have a good technical knowledge of their job and some pieces of general knowledge. She could read and write a little bit. She was robust, stunning, and never got sick a single time. She was iron-willed, achieving any goal she set.
Elanur, 29 years old, retailer, became the new leader of the family.
In the year 1809, Elanur invested all her time and energy in her work. A little while after, Elanur found a special place near Syracuse where she spent time to meditate. The same day, Elanur was condemned for theft in Syracuse.
She was oppressed by the people in Syracuse for believing in Mandaeism, but her faith and her will were strenghtened by this trial.
9 years later, Elanur had an opportunity to change her activity. After some time and some learning, she became con artist. On the first day of the month after, Elanur inherited from a friend. The same day, Elanur fasted on a regular basis. Soon after, Elanur fell in love with Alexander, a beautiful man, 38 years old, a toolmaker. Both married and lived together from now on.
