Epiphaneia Owxurb, (1167, 1265) was a mosaic artist in Syracuse.
Epiphaneia believed in Folk religion.
She lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. She was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, she made some friends among it. People saw Epiphaneia as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She had an unbending mind, always reaching their goal.
Epiphaneia, 58 years old, mosaic artist, became the new leader of the family.
At the age of 68, Epiphaneia decided to enjoy life. She spent everything she earned for the pleasure of the body and the mind. Many people in Syracuse were invited to enjoy life with her, and thus, she made many friends. At the same time, Epiphaneia began to fear death. On the first day of the month after, Epiphaneia had big swings of mood following a depression.
In the year 1244, Epiphaneia decided to improve her knowledge. She found a mentor that teached her many new useful and wonderful things. The same day, Epiphaneia found a special place near Syracuse where she spent time to meditate.
In the year 1250, Epiphaneia spent time socializing with people in Syracuse. She made some strong friendships (and a couple of enemies). Soon after, Epiphaneia broke a leg. On the first day of the month after, Epiphaneia had her ear pierced.
15 years later, Epiphaneia understood that only by helping each other one can truly live. Nine months after, Epiphaneia spent a year reflecting of her actions.
Epiphaneia died of exhaustion after a normal day of work.
