She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She lived as an outcast. To tell the truth, in Ngwenya Mine, she gained the trust or the friendship of no one. People saw Behenu as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health.In the life, she was able to take a few important life-changing decisions.
Behenu, 49 years old, soldier, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 60, Behenu spent time socializing with people in Ngwenya Mine. She made some strong friendships (and a couple of enemies). A few weeks later, Behenu had to fight in a war and came back injured. A few days later, Behenu fell in love with Anaborhi, a charming man, 35 years old, a farmer. Both married and lived together from now on.
Aged 71, Behenu decided to improve her knowledge. She found a mentor that teached her many new useful and wonderful things. Nine months after, Behenu helped build a shelter for the poors.
11 years later, Behenu understood that only by helping each other one can truly live. A little while after, Behenu had to flee during a fight in Ngwenya Mine. A few days later, Behenu found some unclaimed land, and made it her own.
