Epimanes Isaacsson, (1771, 1846) was a latrines keeper in Lisbon.
Epimanes believed in Shamanism.
Financially, he was well under average. He had struggles to meet ends every other week. He belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. People saw Epimanes as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which he did for friends. He was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health.He was iron-willed, achieving any goal he set.

In the year 1846, Epimanes spent a lot of time thinking and meditating about his beliefs. Half a year later, Epimanes participated to a witch hunt. Nine months after, Epimanes fell in love with Berdine, a beautiful woman, 33 years old, a quarryman. Both married and lived together from now on.
A few days later, Berdine got pregnant, and gave birth to an ugly boy named Paul.
