Akinyi Halias, (-2000, -1923) was a farmer in Khami.
Akinyi believed in Shamanism.
She lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. She had a low knowledge of life, summing up to some technical tricks and tales from Khami. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She was known to be lazy, barely waking up in the morning.
Akinyi, 70 years old, farmer, became the new leader of the family.
7 years later, Akinyi decided to enjoy life. She spent everything she earned for the pleasure of the body and the mind. Many people in Khami were invited to enjoy life with her, and thus, she made many friends. Later, Akinyi created a tradition of an annual family meeting.
