Udad Plouf, (-2125, -2043) was a toolmaker in Meroe.
Udad believed in Shamanism.
Financially, he was well under average. He had struggles to meet ends every other week. He was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, he made some friends among it. People saw Udad as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which he did for friends. He was vigorous, muscular, and had a near perfect body. He was known as resolute, with a true entrepreneur spirit.
Udad, 68 years old, toolmaker, became the new leader of the family.
14 years later, Udad needed money. He resolved to sell a family treasure : the abacus. It was a difficult decision, and the sale granted him little money. The same day, Udad fasted on a regular basis. Half a year later, Udad fell in love with Adaeze, an ugly woman, 32 years old, a porter. Both married and lived together from now on.
On the first day of the month after, Adaeze got pregnant, and gave birth to an ugly boy named Ibada.
