Bashira Berenesi, (-2209, -2175) was a salt miner in Assur.
Bashira believed in Ancient Mesopotamian religion.
She lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. She was considered as a worker, belonging to the laborer caste of the society. She had struggles in accessing safe and well payed jobs and businesses. However, she made many friends. People saw Bashira as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was strong, beautiful, and long lived. She was known to be lazy, barely waking up in the morning.
Bashira, 25 years old, salt miner, became the new leader of a new branch of the family.
At the age of 34, Bashira decided to visit the world. She went on a long journey and reached Tlokwe, in Africa : a peaceful village in the hills. The travel was the occasion to do some merchandise dealing, and she made some business. Then she came back and was quite happy to find her house and family. On the first day of the month after, Bashira had her house stormed down by a hurricane.
