Kesandu Kanitaoui, (246, ?) was a musician in Volubilis.
Kesandu believed in Berber religion.
She lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. She was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, she made some friends among it. People saw Kesandu as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was robust, stunning, and never got sick a single time. She was a determined one, living an independant way of life.
