Kahina Lane, (-1687, -1622) was a brick maker in Ngwenya Mine.
Kahina believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
She lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. She was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, she made some friends among it. She had a refined culture, and was known to read, and sometimes write, for pleasure. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She was mostly indecisive, usually accepting any order from anyone.
Kahina, 57 years old, brick maker, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 65, Kahina spent time and wealth to improve her living space. Now it was much more comfortable, and beautiful. The same day, Kahina had to quit Meroe after a flood. The travel was full of dangers, but by luck nothing happened to her. The family settled in Ngwenya Mine. A little while after, Kahina fell in love with Awawa, a beautiful man, 38 years old, a porter. Both married and lived together from now on.
