Ometeko Abeogil, (-2558, -2505) was a basket maker in Engaruka.

She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She was considered as a worker, belonging to the laborer caste of the society. She had struggles in accessing safe and well payed jobs and businesses. However, she made many friends. People saw Ometeko as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health.In the life, she was able to take a few important life-changing decisions.

In the year -2513, Ometeko spent time and wealth to improve her living space. Now it was much more comfortable, and beautiful. Half a year later, Ometeko fasted on a regular basis. A few days later, Ometeko fell in love with Kaa, a monstrous looking man, 30 years old, a cook. Both married and lived together from now on.
Half a year later, Ometeko got pregnant and gave birth to an adorable baby. However, the baby died in the following year by accidental drowning. The whole family was shaken.
In the year -2505, Ometeko had an opportunity to change her activity. After some time and some learning, she became basket maker. Soon after, Ometeko sheltered some lost animals. The same day, Ometeko spent a year reflecting of her actions.
