Amasis Wit hervé, (439, ?) was a debt collector in Faras.
Amasis believed in Animism.
He lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. He belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. He was known to have a good technical knowledge of their job and some pieces of general knowledge. He could read and write a little bit. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. He was a determined one, living an independant way of life.
