Kerubo Ometekooui, (-1788, -1711) was a pictural artist in Tlokwe.
Kerubo believed in Animism.
She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She was considered as a worker, belonging to the laborer caste of the society. She had struggles in accessing safe and well payed jobs and businesses. However, she made many friends. She had a refined culture, and was known to read, and sometimes write, for pleasure. She was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health.She was considered strong-willed, a leader at heart.
Kerubo, 55 years old, weaver, became the new leader of the family.
In the year -1719, Kerubo invested all her time and energy in her work. The same day, Kerubo dreamed of a better place. Half a year later, Kerubo began to fear death.
Aged 77, Kerubo decided to improve her knowledge. She found a mentor that teached her many new useful and wonderful things. On the first day of the month after, Kerubo had her faith strenghtened.
Kerubo died of a respiratory failure.
In the year -1733, Kerubo, 55 years old, pictural artist, became the new leader of the family.
