Sato Merchanter, (1771, ?) was a quarryman in Jakarta.
Sato believed in Shamanism.
He earned enough to live a decent life and never worried too much to meet ends. He lived as an outcast. To tell the truth, in Jakarta, he gained the trust or the friendship of no one. He is still seen as an eternal cultural symbol. He changed the life of many thanks to their cultural masterpieces. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. He was iron-willed, achieving any goal he set.
