Aksil Merchanter, (-1731, ?) was a quarryman in Aksum.
Aksil believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
He earned enough to live a decent life, but was sometimes a little bit short. He was considered a standard citizen of their society, with as much power than most of the people. He was seen as a true poet, and legends says that he couldn't live without reading and writing. Years after, some of the works Aksil made are still enjoyed and sometimes studied. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. He was considered strong-willed, a leader at heart.
