Chikondi Galanadel, (-1696, ?) was a merchant in Aksum.
Chikondi believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
She earned enough to live a decent life, but was sometimes a little bit short. She was considered a standard citizen of their society, with as much power than most of the people. She was seen as a true poet, and legends says that she couldn't live without reading and writing. Years after, some of the works Chikondi made are still enjoyed and sometimes studied. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She was considered strong-willed, a leader at heart.
