Habtamu Fiacostavu, (728, ?) was a merchant in Ambohimanga.
Habtamu believed in Berber religion.
He lived an opulent life, owning more than he could actually assess on even spend, including houses and fancy goods. He owned very precious, unique art pieces in a private collection. The legend says that he could buy anything in the world if he wanted to. He belonged to an influential family that could help in any occasion. Moreover, he was seen as belonging to the low nobility and as such, was somewhat courtised by many people. People saw Habtamu as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which he did for friends. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. He was iron-willed, achieving any goal he set.
