Jol Fiacostavu, (733, ?) was a merchant in Ambohimanga.
Jol believed in Berber religion.
She lived an opulent life, owning more than she could actually assess on even spend, including houses and fancy goods. She owned very precious, unique art pieces in a private collection. The legend says that she could buy anything in the world if she wanted to. She belonged to an influential family that could help in any occasion. Moreover, she was seen as belonging to the low nobility and as such, was somewhat courtised by many people. People saw Jol as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She was iron-willed, achieving any goal she set.
