Juan Khalaf, (1425, 1481) was a storyteller in Rome.
Juan believed in Mandaeism.
He lived a life of poverty. He was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. He belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. People saw Juan as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which he did for friends. He was strong, beautiful, and long lived. He was a determined one, living an independant way of life.
Juan, 45 years old, storyteller, became the new leader of the family.
11 years later, Juan needed money. He resolved to sell a family treasure : the sickle. It was a difficult decision, and the sale granted him little money. A few weeks later, Juan overcame a depression. On the next full moon, Juan dug a well. Nine months after, Juan fell in love with Alice, an average looking woman, 30 years old, a porter. Both married and lived together from now on.
Half a year later, Alice got pregnant, and gave birth to a monstrous looking girl named Hildegard.
