Awawa Idderfitz, (998, 1081) was a toolmaker in Chinguetti.
Awawa believed in Shamanism.
He lived a life of poverty. He was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. He belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. He had a refined culture, and was known to read, and sometimes write, for pleasure. He was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health.He was iron-willed, achieving any goal he set.
Awawa, 61 years old, toolmaker, became the new leader of a new branch of the family.
At the age of 74, Awawa decided to improve his knowledge. He found a mentor that teached him many new useful and wonderful things. At the same time, Awawa participated to a witch hunt.
Aged 83, Awawa decided to enjoy life. He spent everything he earned for the pleasure of the body and the mind. Many people in Chinguetti were invited to enjoy life with him, and thus, he made many friends. At the same time, Awawa was invited to a prestigious diner with many influential people. On the next full moon, Awawa became a part-time teacher. On the next full moon, Awawa fell in love with Kasaqa, a charming woman, 38 years old, a servant. Both married and lived together from now on.
A few days later, Kasaqa got pregnant and gave birth to an adorable baby boy, but he was weak and died the first night. Kasaqa got heartbroken.
Awawa died of exhaustion after a normal day of work.
