Gilat Amasiser, (-1124, -1064) was a butcher in Knossos.
Gilat believed in Yazdanism.
She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. She was of a sophisticated culture, masters a couple of languages, and always curious to understand other cultures. She had a sane way of life, exercising regurlarly. She was mostly indecisive, usually accepting any order from anyone.
Gilat, 48 years old, butcher, became the new leader of a new branch of the family.
Aged 60, Gilat decided to go back to where her family came. She packed a few possessions and departed for a the old place she often talked about. The travel was the occasion to do some merchandise dealing, and she made some business. The family settled in Akkad. The same day, Gilat was striken by an unknown disease for several months. The same day, Gilat had a mystic vision, and nobody believed her. A few days later, Gilat fell in love with Rayan, a charming man, 36 years old, a goldsmith. Both married and lived together from now on.
