Afshin Amasiser, (-505, ?) was a storyteller in Istanbul / Constantinople / Byzantium.
Afshin believed in Folk religion.
He earned enough to live a decent life and never worried too much to meet ends. He was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, he made some friends among it. People saw Afshin as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which he did for friends. He had a sane way of life, exercising regurlarly. He was soft-spirited, rejecting any responsability.
