Zegiga Waro, (-1200, -1128) was a pictural artist in Meroe.
Zegiga believed in Animism.
She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. She was of a sophisticated culture, masters a couple of languages, and always curious to understand other cultures. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She had an unbending mind, always reaching their goal.
Zegiga, 30 years old, pictural artist, became the new leader of the family.
In the year -1155, Zegiga spent time to learn to cook better, and made some various experiments. Not all of the dishes were good, but most weren't bad. A few days later, Zegiga lost a hand that froze to necrosis.
In the year -1140, Zegiga looked for a child to adopt. Alas, she didn't have enough wealth to achieve this goal. She felt really sad. A few weeks later, Zegiga had the time of her life in a long party that lasted for days. A few weeks later, Zegiga fell in love with Abeo, an ugly man, 38 years old, a latrines keeper. Both married and lived together from now on.
Aged 72, Zegiga decided to improve her knowledge. She found a mentor that teached her many new useful and wonderful things. A few weeks later, Zegiga broke a leg.
