Gilukhipa Hanoui, (1804, ?) was a vagabond in Ouagadougou.
Gilukhipa believed in Berber religion.
She lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. She lived as an outcast. To tell the truth, in Ouagadougou, she gained the trust or the friendship of no one. People saw Gilukhipa as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health.She was soft-spirited, rejecting any responsability.
