Uloho Girod, (1378, 1440) was a merchant in Mecca.
Uloho believed in Animism.
He lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. He was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, he made some friends among it. He had a refined culture, and was known to read, and sometimes write, for pleasure. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. He was iron-willed, achieving any goal he set.
Uloho, 38 years old, merchant, became the new leader of the family.
15 years later, Uloho decided to visit the world. He went on a long journey and reached Assur, in Central Asia : beautiful argile and stone buildings and temple modeling a geometrical, powerful, city. The travel was uneventful, and a little bit boring and long. Then he came back and was quite happy to find his house and family. Later, Uloho lost a hand that froze to necrosis. A few weeks later, Uloho fell in love with Butemwe, a monstrous looking woman, 45 years old, a dancer. Both married and lived together from now on.
Half a year later, Butemwe got pregnant, and gave birth to a monstrous looking girl named Apunanwu.
In the year 1440, Uloho decided to settle somewhere else. He packed a few possessions and departed for a new place. The travel was fascinating, and he learned many things on the road. The family settled in Mecca. Half a year later, Uloho was robbed in a street of Mecca during a dark night. At the same time, Uloho made an investment and never saw his money back.
